Bottle at Lambicus. Unique rating 15K-1. Darkest brown, dark tan cream. Cedar wood, Leather, herb and and Balsamico aroma, restrained tartness, aromatic wood, basil liqueur. Medium body, sparkly. Warming notes, light boozy spongy wood. Not strong though, intense flavors, but perfectly drinkable. Wood ash retronasal.

Pourpre foncé, col crémeux blanc-cassé rosé - assez conséquent pour ce type de bière.
Arôme donne de suite un côté 'sour' acide voire vinaigré prononcé tout en ayant un coté fleuri fruité de la cerise et autres fruits noirs en support - aucun support à noter du Cognac.
Palais sur la cerise plus pas mal de funk et de notes aigres - un peu de trop à mon goût cela allant presque vers un côté acétique. Je note aussi un coté dark malts presque toasté/léger chocolat noir acidulé qui se mêlent à la base fruitée

Arôme sur un fruité marqué de cerise et fruits rouges, le côté lambic est plus en retrait, le parfum est frais avec ce côté infusion/coulis mais sans avoir des marqueurs trop sucrés.
Palais est bien sur la cerise - petite touche douce résiduelle mais reprise avec un délicat support aigrelet/funk - pointe de massepain et d'acidité qui arrive aussi en fin de bouche.

Sampled as Bogaerden Imperial White Small white rim over deeper golden beer. Coriander and some sweet malts; bit of breakfast cereals, and wilting spring leaves. Soupy, coriander, slight oxydation, and some other dry exotic herbs. Quite wheatslick (again the coriander?) despite good carbonation. Medium bodied. Coriandersoup. Willem, I'll stick to the lambics. Txs to Willem and Stef!

Draught Purple to cardinal red, bright, under a small cyclamen head. Ripe sour cherries with an almondy touch, strongly suggesting the stones. Stewed cherries from small (Gorsemse) cherries. Ripe sour cherries logically returning in the mouth, with a strange 'wooly', grainy aftertaste. Wood. Ulta dry, tart, sour but yet mild again, fruit lending some body. Just great! Cask, just yr+ Pale chromate yellow beer, transparant bubbles. Floral, springblossoms, Lindenblossom. Estery, lemony, bond dry. Traces of the worts in (yellow) stonefruit and pineapple. Long dry-out effect. Very nice young lambic with marvelous potential. Big thanks to Willem!

Cask 4 yr old Mindblowing delicate yet strong vinous nose, almost more wine than lambic, with mild woody touches. Wood, straw, tart yet mals in soft cidery and ditto vinous notes. Ultra dry. Despite the relative high acidity, it is mals in the best way imaginable. Big thanks to Willem!

Bottle. Color: Hazy golden, white head. A lot of tiny carbonation bubbles going up in the glass. Aroma: Tart, fruity, hints of lemon some and rural funk. Taste: Over moderate tartness, vinegar hints, fruity gooseberry, some lime, orange, tropical fruit and green apple. Subtle rural funk and hints of oak wood. Medium body, below average carbonation. Ok.

0.375 l bottle from 'Het Huis van de Geuze', bottled in July 2024. Hazy, deep ruby with a medium large, fluffy, quickly diminishing, pinkish white head. Sweetish, sourish, rather fruity and slightly funky aroma of sour cherry, blackcurrant, horse blanket, vinegar, oak and some bitter almond. Slightly sweet, quite sour, rather fruity and slightly funky taste of sour cherry, blackcurrant, elderberry, lemon, horse blanket, vinegar, oak and light bitter almond, followed by a medium long, fairly tart, slightly woody-dry and a little vinous finish. Medium body, quite astringent and rather effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Rather acidic but also refreshing and elegant Kriek with intense cherry flavours.
