75cl bottle from Kupela, Anglet. Pours a misty yellow, loose white bubbles atop. Exceptionally tangy and crisp, moderately sour with a very distant cheesiness, finishing dry, very natural tasting. A touch more fruitiness would've been welcome.

330ml can. Pours clear gold with no head. Aroma is funky, earthy, green apple. Taste is dry and tart, apple, funk, almost no carbonation. Dry finish. Medium bodied.

75cl bottle from Kupela Restaurant, Bayonne. Pours a pale gold, generally clear with a very fine mist. Familiar cheesy basque character, moderate acidity, gently tangy.. but a touch subdued, almost as if it's watered down a little . Still decent.

75cl bottle from Kupela, Bayonne. Misty pale golden yellow appearance, bright effervescence. Has a nicely tangy, lightly fleshy sweet character.. light syrupy inflection, perhaps a little fresher and greener than standard Brittany / Normandy demi sec. Nice

Bottle from the LCBO. Clear golden pour, with a small white head. Aroma is musty apple skins, light sulphites, honey, and some floral notes. mouth feel is thin, light carb. Finish is tart, semi dry.

330ml bottle from Bien Manger. Pours a clear gold, very light carbonation. Light medium desert apple and grape aroma. Moderately syrupy sweet, expected a sharp basque profile but it's not at all, actually bears a likeness to white wine, more grape notes than apple coming through. Interesting, decent.

75cl bottle from BienManger.fr. Pours a misty pale yellow, fine effervescence. Zesty lemon aroma. Moderately sharp, zesty lemony presence, bittersharp apple fruit, tangy acidity, apple skin, balanced bitterness, lasting apple fruit on the finish. Decent sagardoa.
