Can. Deep clear brown with a beige head that lasts OK. Toasty aroma with hints of roast and stewed fruit. So it tastes - malty but not all that sweet with unobtrusive spicy bitterness. Solid drop.

Can. Gold, a cm+ white head. Sweet bready aroma with nice floral notes. So it tastes. Clean with enough bitterness that gets a little peppery too. Typically Boatrocker: does what it says. Gluggable.

Into a Sam Adams glass - makes sense to brew something like this now you can't get that or Brooklyn here. Brownish amber, modest beige head. Biscuity aroma, some peppery hops. Malty and moderately sweet with enough bitterness to keep you interested. Fair enough - maybe could have used a few more bubbles.

Interesting that Boatrocker seems to be pursuing a two pronged approach - some v expensive fancy beers + quite a few new modestly priced offerings not using shedloads of hops. IMHO a smart move.

Can. Clear gold, a good 2cm of white head. Delicate gooseberry and hay aroma with some floral notes. Just a little sweet with lots of very Kiwi hops and decent bitterness. Nice.

Can. Golden amber, white head. Aroma of orange, hay, biscuit. Pretty much how it tastes. Hints of butter. A fair bit of body, moderate carbonation. Firm bitterness. More Northern Bitter than Golden Ale. Pretty good.

A fruity, chocolatey, roasty aroma leaps out of the glass. Notes of belgian chocolate, coffee, orange and toast. The toast is strong in the mouth, and it's got a smooth palate with just a hint of milk. Very nice.

From tap at Borefts 2022. Lots of bourbon in the aroma with caramel, toffee, chocolate, alcohol, some vanilla. Quite rich, boozy, bittersweet flavour with a long aftertaste. Full and lovely.
