From tap at Borefts 2022. Nicely fruity with a little funk. Red fruit, plum, lively carbonation. Tart and sour, bit puckering. Medium body. Great.

From tap at Borefts 2022. Lots of bourbon in the aroma with caramel, toffee, chocolate, alcohol, some vanilla. Quite rich, boozy, bittersweet flavour with a long aftertaste. Full and lovely.

375ml can. Slightly hazy gold, small white head, decent retention. Aroma is pine, resin, malts and citrus. Taste is pine resin, grapefruit, citrus, biscuit malts and a strong bitterness but it doesn't hang around and isn't astringent. Average in body and carbonation which is fine. Its a good solid IPA but a little unmemorable. It has a relatively clean taste and only a hint of dank hops.

Can. Black. A tan coat doesn't last long. About 13C, a little cooler to start would have worked better. Mocha and fudge aroma with pepperberries, some ointment, youngish whisky. Better integrated upon a taste, with roast, smoke, some brioche, oaked whisky and peppery bitterness. Big flavours but only medium bodied. Good, maybe will improve by winter.

Can. Clear amber, white head. Shyish aroma of under-ripe tropical fruit, pine needles, light bread. Much more vibrant taste with white peach, gooseberries, lime leaf and a very nice building resin towards the bitter end.

This is what I like to call Australian strong. Almost 15% just smacks of all the flavor. It even broke my bottle opener.

Can. Copper, a beige head is soon less than a coat. Aroma of bread, stewed fruit, singed toffee - guess it is different to Straight to VHS. Appropriately big for just 5.5% with malty flavours giving way to firm firm bitterness. As is sometimes the way, the finish won me over about the aroma.
