Crystal clear golden coloured body with a frothy white head that fades quickly, but leaves a very ugly lace on the sides, all the way up to the top. Aroma of grassy and quite floral hop notes with a clean bite, some light pine and resin along with the smallest hint of citrus and bubblegum noticeable with some mellow malts here. Light to Medium-bodied; Pretty piney and grassy hop notes dominate while being fairly clean in terms of malt and body with a layer of bitterness up front and some softer sugars from the fruit notes behind with a decent enough balance, as it's light across the board. Aftertaste is dry, fairly grassy and herbal with some nice hay and flowers here as well, but there isn't much to this, especially in terms of the malt bill and the balance here. Overall, a decent enough IPA but nothing special nor too balanced, and while I can't figure out if this is supposed to be a new school or old school IPA, it sits squarely in the middle and this is nowhere close to Imperial Status in any regard. Not really worth trying and I'm glad I bought this and drank it first on my trip out West here without carting it back home all the way across the country! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Trader Joe's in Fairfield, California, a few hours ago on 28-August-2022 for US$3,00 (at least it was cheap!) sampled in my hotel room here in San Francisco, California on 28-August-2022.

A lightly hazed golden DIPA with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, dank notes, pleasant. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity caramel malt with light resinous hops, dank citrus, pleasant.

Can, 0.473l. Aroma of ripe melon, mango, citrus and flowers. Pours cloudy golden color with thin creamy white head, nice lacing and average sparkling appearance. Taste starts refreshing citrusy and piney, following is grainy, ripe tropical fruity and herbal, mouthfeel is crisp and dry, while finish is pretty bitter. Medium body, slick texture and average carbonation in palate. Not revolutionary IPA…

Can. Amber beer with a cream head. Grapefruit and light pine aroma. Grapefruit and pine flavor. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Grapefruit and pine linger with light mineral notes. Dry finish.
