bottle. Brown colour, cloudy, small and fluffy head, quickly collapsing. Beautiful aroma of chocolate, malt, roasted malt and caramel. This can also be found in the flavour. However, varbonation is so high that it is difficult to taste the different flavours. The alcohol is well disguised.

0.5 l bottle. Pours dark brown body with huge ocher head. Not too much aroma but nice hints of chocolate malt and some wheat. Flavor is very nice and full, not so sweet and similar to the Hefe Weizen but good on the other side. Long finish with wheat felt. Medium carbonation, murky body. Interesting and very good beer.

0.5 l bottle. Pours murky yellow body with big white head. Fine aroma of citrus mixed with something similar to banana but not exactly. A bit sweetish flavor, like honey, not even minimally sour. Nice long finish, medium carbonation. Very nice and after all interesting.

500ml bottle sampled with Finn. Huge, dense foamy head leaving moderate lacing on the glass. Lightly fresh fruity smell. Citric vagueness in taste. Foamy mouthfeel and lively carbonated. Crystal clear, indeed, but it seems that they also filtered away most of the flavours (Tromsø, 06.09.2007).

Bottled (as Erdinger Oktoberfest Weißbier). Cloudy pale orange, brief head. Aroma of plastic. Sweet with hard, sparkling mouthfeel. Some very light clove character, but mostly plastic. Whea and vanilla hides behind. No bitterness. Simplistic and pointless. None of the refreshing characteristics the real hefeweizens have. Typical Erdinger.

On tap. Fluffy white head. Cloudy pale body. Slight banana aroma. Taste is the obvious banana taste with some malts. A little bit of spice to spice things up. Bready finish. Not too much taste, but overall it was an ok hefe... not watery at all like some of the style.

This beer sports a huge off white head. Rather dark brown body. Fruity aroma. Taste has some roasty flavors along with the standard weizen flavors like banana and spice. Sort of malty actually as well. A little too much carbonation for my liking.

Bottle; bb 12-2007. Aroma of yeast and caramel malt. A hint of metal. Reddish tinged brown color with a beige head that stayed alert. Medium bodied; strong, creamy, carbonation. The flavor is dark caramel, some wheat, and a bit of darker fruit. The finish is rather dry, lacking bitter. A final impression of something like mocha banana is left.
