This oatmeal poured a deep black colour with a big, creamy, brown coloured head. Nice lacing. Scents include chocolate, nuts, caramel, a bit of vanilla and a very light odour of almost paint thinner? First swig was smooth, creamy and sweet. Flavours of peanuts, cocoa, caramel… chocolate bar in beer form really. Finish is mild coffee and cocoa flavours lingering.
