I have always thought this is a stout similar to Guinness. I’ve never read the label, so my assumption probably was based on black colors in the label, that it is from England and that most of the time it would catch my attention around St. Patrick’s Day.So Finally I get to Try it and I get surprised when pours amber Color, Nice Creamy Head that leaves tons of creamy lacing. Grainy Aroma. Creamy Body, that has a slight Watery Feel. Malt, and Decent Hops Bitter. Pretty Good, I like creamy aspect, so I’ve Enjoyed it. Worth A Try.

Light golden coloured clear lager. Holds little taste but not the worst body which is fairly crisp.

Bottle shared - cheers Steven. Sadly another boring brown beer! Watery, if anything.

Nose is very weak. Slight Malt hint of cereal. Taste is very bland; malt, slight cardboard, light lactose. Mouthfeel is fuller than expected. Boring pasteurized beer.

33cl can picked up in Alsager. Golden amber with a billowing cream head that quickly falls back; obvious alcohol on the aroma, with some grain; bittersweet grainy body; and a warming finish. Not a lot going for this, especially when compared to Bank’s Barley Gold.

Keg. Very smooth tasty and good looking standard bitter, certainly above average.
