Cask. Sheffield Tap. Clear, straw colour. Sparkler induced creamy head. Nose has grain. Pappy bread. Green leaf. Taste is horribly bitter. Really quite astringent. Light body. Low carbonation. Bitterness to finish. Grim. Left it.

330ml bottle from the LCBO. Super dark mahogany with just a hint of khaki coloured head with an aggressive pour. Nose is molasses, dark fruit, wood, licorice, dark chocolate, coffee, red wine and roasted nuts. Wine is more prominent in the flavour with a light fruit sweetness and a medium- dark chocolate and coffee bitterness. Mouth is medium+ and oily with soft carbonation. Alcohol is warming but not distracting. 9-/3/8/3+/16-
