Description

Light brown color. Well carbonated. Aroma has some citrus and wheat with light spices. Flavor is a high quality wit with additional sourness. Full bodied and very complex for the style.

Aged 1 year. Pours bright gold into a tulip. Bright white fluffy micro head does not recede. Spritzy lemon and backyard aromas. Soft lemon from front to back. Lasting citrus finish. How can this have no added lemon?

Hazy orange color, cloudy white head, lace. Fruity aroma: apricot and peach in the nose. Foamy carbonated mouthfeel. Sweeter than typical Belgish tripels - more like American version of the style. Fruity, grassy, hoppy, refreshing tripel. Not too yeasty and enjoyable.

750 ml bottle, no date, poured into a Duvel tulip glass. Large foamy head turns into a lacing that covers the entire surface. Color is glowing golden with medium clarity. Aroma is strong on cookie dough maltiness and lactose-y yeastiness but offset by a fresh air clean aroma. All of which is great but upon close examination there is also a grassy/slightly herbal aroma in the background that is not desirable. Taste is creamy sweet with grassy hoppiness that creates an abrupt finish to the flavor. Leaves a lightly sweet aftertaste. Low bitterness and a below average carbonation to go with the creamy texture of the beer.

Pour is a very dark brown with a big fluffy brown head. Aroma is nice, lots of brown and candi sugar with some dark fruit and a dose of alcohol. Flavor is a bit weaker than the aroma but there are some caramel notes with some brown sugar. The problem comes in the after taste. Total metalic and puckering. Still this is ok and the price is right, just over $5 for a bomber.

Great sour, horseblanket aroma like a lambic. Lots of sediment in the glass, yellow beer and very heavily carbonated. Good fruit flavor, spicy, and plenty of hops. Alcohol is well hidden.

Bottled. An unclear dark brown beer with a lazing light brown head. The aroma is sweet malty with primary notes of caramel, but also light notes of butter. The flavor is sweet malty with a slight acidity - in the good way, combined with notes of caramel, leading to a dry end.

(Bottle 75 cl) Hazy, dark brown with an orange hue and an off-white head. Sweetish aroma of roasted malt and dried fruit. Fairly full body with some sweet, roasted malts. Lightly vinous with an enticing, tart edge which I don’t know how intentional it was though, but it comes out quite interesting. Not too bad. 080307

Bottle: Poured a brown amber color with a thin tan head. Aroma was liquorish and sweet malt. The flavor was very similiar as it was sweet and candy malt.
