Bouteille 650ml.

Pours with an ugly foamy head that disappears very fast, has a boring gold body with plenty of carbonation. The aroma is a mixture of paint, gasoline, and dollar store air fresheners. The flavour is an utterly harsh mix of candied syrup with an orange peel finish. This stuff is just all over the place and deserves a spot right beside the most revolting high-alcohol macrobrews. Hold your nose and Mix it with coke. A bit more experimentation with this beer (I hate pouring whole bottles down the drain) reveals that its flavour profile complements fruity sodas quite well.... in this case some strawberry-flavoured mineral water, it works well when cut 50/50. Anything more and you might end up tasting the beer, and no one wants that!

Bouteille 650ml.

Boring gold with just a little bit of very white head on top... looks like any other macro lager. Soft aroma of hops and cardboard. Taste is fruity malts with a rice and alcohol finish. Slightly better than the worst, but not by much.

Gold body, modest head. Aroma of fake hops and sugar. Taste is corn and detergent - really, this is supposed to be based on "German" beer? All I taste are all the adjuncts of macro-brews mashed together into a pretty awful mess. I claim false advertising, yet again.

Boring dark gold body and a modest amount of head. Aroma is very sour hops and cardboard that has been abandoned in a desert. Taste is extremely hoppy, a very nice IPA taste with a bone dry finish. But, I can’t taste any "honey" on this one. If I hadn’t read the label, I would have been happier.

Found in Wakefield, QC at the Axep grocery shop and comes in a 4-pack of cans. Pours a typical golden clean colour for a pils, with a white head. Average retention and good dirty lacing. Light grainy aromas of wet hay. Medium-bodied wet mouthfeel, almost flat. Grain tasting, just like the nose, but a tad stronger. After a while, alcohol really comes out in the smell and other adjunct products. Just a plain pilsner brewed in Rochester N.Y. and imported to Laval, QC to have the word "imported" printed on the can and with the German-style art to attract the upper beer drinkers.

Canette 473ml.

Can: Poured a clear golden color beer with a medium bubbly head with minimal retention and no lacing. Aroma of light adjunct notes with some sweetness. Taste is also quite sweet with some light ester of adjunct. Body is about average with good carbonation. Not something I will seek again.

Bottle: Poured a dirty beige color ale with a large fluffy head with OK retention. Aroma of overly sweet malt base is gross. Taste is quite a mess with gross notes of sugar with a weird overcooked vegetables aftertaste. I could only drink two or three sip of this strange mix before pouring the beer in the drain. Incredibly bad even knowing who the brewer is.
