Just above the drinkable mark. Pours cloudy amber with a little foamy head that disappears quick. Freezes prerty clear with a dirty tint on the bus stop. Sone light hops and citrus. Sone sour malt. Tall can from Bieres du monde.

Évaluation no. 31. Septembre 2010 Rien de particulier au nez. Couleur blonde / dorée. Mousse moyenne, peu persistante. Attaque en agrumes avec légère amertume. Assez bien équilibrée. Manque un peu de personnalité.

Can, 473 ml, from and with Luc Bourbonnière, savoured on March 1 2013; eye: golden, slightly hazy, nice effervescence, voluminous white head that turns into a thin sheet; nose: malt, light honey; mouth: malt, light honey, grain, lightly acrid finale with light presence of hops, medium body, good carbonation, slightly bitter, lightly sweet, lightly grainy texture; overall: correct FRANÇAIS Canette, 473 ml, de et avec Luc Bourbonnière, savourée le 1er mars 2013; œil : dorée, très légèrement voilée, bonne effervescence, mousse blanche abondante qui se transforme en une mince couverture; nez : malt, léger miel; bouche : malt, léger miel, grain, finale légèrement âcre en malt avec légère présence de houblon, corps moyen, bonne carbonatation, très légèrement amère, légèrement sucrée, texture légèrement granuleuse; en résumé : correct

A golden ale with a thick frothy off white head. In aroma, a nice grassy malt with herbal hops, OK. In mouth, a grainy biscuit malt with British hops, light metallic notes, watery bodied, could be worse. Tasted March 1 2013.

Bouteille claire 341ml. de couleur dorée foncée et claire. Nez de grains de malt pâle sucrés avec de très faibles notes de caramel doux, léger de maïs sucré, avec quelques notes de houblon herbeux. Mince en bouche avec un pétillement moyen-fort et une texture aux notes aqueuses. Goût de grains de malt pâle sucrés aux notes croustillantes avec des faibles notes de légumes bouillis lors de l’entrée en bouche suivi d’un goût de maïs sucré avec de faibles notes métalliques ainsi qu’une légère amertume de houblon herbeux (herbes mouillées) en finale. Post-goût court-moyen, aux notes amères de houblon herbeux.

Canette 473ml. De couleur jaune et claire. Nez de grains de malt pâle, léger de maïs sucré avec de très faibles notes de houblon herbeux (gazon mouillé) et métalliques. Mince en bouche avec un pétillement moyen-élevé et une texture aqueuse. Goût de grains de malt pâles lors de l’entrée en bouche suivi d’un léger goût de maïs sucré puis en finale l’on retrouve de faibles notes amères de houblon herbeux (gazon mouillé) et des traces métalliques. Post-goût court et sec, aux faibles notes amères de houblon herbeux et de métal.

Bomber (with twist-off) purchased in a small Hull convenient store. Pours a medium golden colour with lots of carbonation. The white head is foamy and goes down quickly, leaving nothing. Malty nose with mostly corn coming out after breathing a bit, and slight sweetness. Because of the violent carbonation, a 2mm coat tops the brew, and some of that laces the glass. Again, a combination of malt and corn in the flavours. Not much of an aftertaste. Slightly dry mouthfeel with a little creaminess. Not sure what to think of this one. Nothing horrible, but would not buy again.

Originally rated October 2005. Man, I’ve never had so much trouble pouring a beer from a can into a glass. Ran half along the can, so lots of it was on the floor. The colour is pale yellow, but the white head is actually surprising. Pretty big, real creamy and longer retention than most swills. Whatever is left on top after looks kind of horrid though, like water in swamps with patches of stuff here and there. The nose is full of alcohol and some malt (weird, for a 4.9% brew). Tastes like malt liquor, but watered down. Mild bitterness at first, with a grainy malt taste finish. Lets just say it’s better than Busch.
