50 cl bottle poured into a Snifter. Clear amber golden colour with a creamy off-white head. Sweet aroma with caramel malts, fruits, nuts, bread and earthy hoppy notes. Taste is sweet. Medium bodied. Dry finish with fruits, caramel malts and earhty floral notes. Rather dry at the finish. Ok, had not expected such a dryness in the finish.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours clear golden with a thin white head. Aromas of cooked corn and faint spice. Taste is dried herbs and more corn. Malty notes. Crisp on the finish. OK.

Bottle from Beers Of Europe. Appearance - golden with proportionate white lacing. Nose - sweetcorn with a light hint of hop spice. Taste - more sweetcorn, with an edge of green herbs or even green peppercorn. Palate - light bodied, dry malty and hoppy finish with measured bitterness. Overall - good lager.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Appearance - golden amber with a big fluffy head. Nose - pine getting into rosemary or lavender. Citrus too. Taste - lavender and grapefruit. Palate - light bodied, creamy middle with balanced texture on a finish. Overall - good.

Bottle from Beers Of Europe. Appearance - deep amber to brown. Off white head. Nose - chocolate, caramel and hazelnuts. Taste - more caramel and chocolate. Edge of brown bread or biscuit. Palate - medium bodied, creamy texture, long linger. Overall - I think this is as much a Bitter as a Brown Ale. Enjoyed it.

Bottle from Beers of Europe.. Appearance black with a creamy head. Nose - molasses, but dry. Liquorice. Taste - more liquorice and raisins. A bit of tar on the side. Palate - medium bodied at least. Roasty through middle and finish. Overall - very nice.

Bottle shared with Ashton McCobb. Pours dark brown to black with a thin off-white head. Aromas of hazelnut, tar, liquorice, red wine. Taste is more of the same. Nicely done.

Bottle from Beers Of Europe. Appearance - cloudy copper. Thin but attractive white lacing. Nose - wood, candied orange. Wood spice. Taste - woody, fudge and nail varnish on the finish. Palate - medium bodied, a bit boozy and woody astringency on the finish. Overall - not sure the nail varnish was intended.
