Using traditional methods, we brew a range of ales representing the true spirit of a great city. With a batch size of 10 British barrels (360 gallons) the brewery is at the rear of our dedicated outlet, the Gunmakers Arms, in the historic Gunmakers’ quarter and supplies pubs, clubs and restaurants across Birmingham and the West Midlands.
Two Towers Brewery is a community organisation that is integrated into the fabric of its historic surroundings with the aim of enriching the experience of all those around us.

Cask@GBBF2011. Deep goldeny amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is fruits, wood, caramel and some mild resiny notes as well. Flavour is wood, fruits, some bitterness as well as some quite bready notes.

(Cask at Market Porter, Southwark, London, 18 July 2011) Hazy brown colour with brief, beige head. Malty nose with notes of toast, dark bread and hints of diacetyl. Malty, slightly toasty taste with dark bread, caramel and hints of diacetyl. Fairly thin and flat. Probably not in top shape.

Cask@GBBF2011. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, berryish, floral and mild maltyness as well. Flavour is fruits, wood, nectar, caramel, earth and some mild wooden notes.

From cask. Pours cloudy dark brown with a small off-white head. Aroma is roasted dark malty and slight breadish. Bitter, dark malty and light caramelish. Dry and malty finish. Light bitterness.

From cask. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is mild spiced and slight hayish. Bitter, light hayish and slight grassy hoppy. Ends bitter and dry.

500ml bottle. Pours light gold with a large, frothy head. Aroma is light, tangerine and grass. Taste is grass to start. Strong bitter, yeasty and bready finish.

Cask gravity at Reading BF 2011. Dark chestnut colour. No real head. Some ruby malt in the mouth. Tasty enough. Very light on hops not great condition alcohol gives it some extra body. Enjoyable enough.
