500ml bottle. Pours jet black with a medium frothy head. Aroma is roasted malt and blackcurrants. Roasted start. Roasted malt and mild coffee finish. Oily. Named after an area of Brum called Jewelery Quarter, although it would have made more sense to make a porter.

500ml bottle. Pours golden with a small head. Aroma is bready malt and pineapple. Taste is bread and light fruity malt. Low bitter finish. Bottle conditioning needs work. --- Beer merged from original tick of Baskerville 3.5 on 09 Mar 2011 at 10:36 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6.5. Original review text: Cask at the Mug House Inn, Bewdley. Poured orange gold with a small head. Aroma was mild orange and some soapiness underneath. It had a bitter fruit start and a strong bitter finish with bready malt on the aftertaste. Lot of body for the low strength. Cracking session bitter.

Cask at Pub du Vin, Birmingham on 28th December 2010. Brown to copper with thin off-white ring of foam. Caramel malt aroma. Engaging palate of fruits, hops and spices. Lemony tang, grassy notes and a touch of cinnamon. Spicy finish and a lively mouthfeel.
