Cask at the Birmingham CAMRA festival 2014. Poured a hazy medium amber with a bubbly white head. The aroma is citrus yeast. The flavour is moderate bitter light sour with a crisp citrus light medicinal palate. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation. I’m not entirely sure this ale was in peak condition.

Cask at GBBF ’14, day 4, 15/08/14. Dark amber with a moderate beige swirl and edgeing. Nose is brown bread, dark fruits, malty notes, stoned dark fruit. Taste comprises dark fruits, toasted brown bread, dark malt, faint toffee. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, dark fruit rinse in the close. Adequate mild but I usually get a little more flavour from the 5%+ ones!
