Great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, ginger, honey, and bready malt flavors; with an awesome malt/bitter/spiciness balance, and zero cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from bitter/spiciness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/grainy, and fairly sticky balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol for 5.8%. Touch of lingering ginger spice heat. Overall this is an excellent spiced saison. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, ginger, honey, and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink, with the mellowly bitter/spicy/drying finish. Well rounded Saison yeast complexity, balanced bready malt backbone; and not overdone on the ginger. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example.

12oz can pours with a dark mahogany colored body that supports a thin tan head of foam. The mild aroma offers up chocolate, dark roasted malts, faint dark roasted coffee and then malt balls. The taste delivers malt sweetened dark roasted maltiness and dark roasted coffee flowing into a pleasing chocolate sensation as well as malt balls lined in a faint sense of toffee. Pretty nice as it stays this way into the finish.
