Very dark with an off-white head. Lightly roasted malts with plenty of sweet chocolate to round that out. A hint of dry coffee grounds, too. Finish has plenty of sweetness and a little bitterness from the coffee notes. Thin bodied. An enjoyable and very accessible porter.

22oz bottle pours a muddy brown with some sticky, tan head. Nose is yeasty brown bread, caramel, treacle, light booze, toast. Flavor is bready, caramel, sweet, some booze, some wood, earthy. Finishes boozy and astringent.

Roast, a bit of vanilla and some solid dark chocolate like your relatives ruined your Christmas diet. Pretty decent balance here. Caramel. Bittersweet finish. Can.

On tap at The Map Room. Pours a clear deep amber with a ruby hue and a tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of red wine with sweet grains, toffee and a hint of grass supporting. Flavor has lots of sweet grains and red wine with grass and a hint of toffee.

Bottle at Black Christmas 2017
Black color. Nice coconut and chocolate aroma. Rich chocolate flavor, sweet, full bodied, with warming alcohol. It's like boozy Bounty Bar, delicious.
