Bottle form Luvians, St Andrews. it pours slightly hazy deep chestnut brown with a khaki head. The aroma is oily, sticky, rich maltage, toffee, malt loaf, fizzy cola bottles, raisin, sultana, fruit loaf, rich, toasty and unctuous. The taste is slick, thick, oily, unctuous, bitter - sweet, chewy, toothy, toasty brown sugars, toffee, malt loaf, brown bread, dried fruits, toasted fruit loaf, gummy cola bottles, some warming booze, nip of spice and dry leathery oak with a slick, brown sugar finale. Fulsome body, average carbonation and oily mouth feel. Rich and unctuous. A fun sipper, but it is pretty heavy duty stuff.

440ml can. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma of grassy and citrus hops, malts. Taste is very hoppy for a lager, citrusy, grapefruit, orange/lemon, grassy/herbal, on a bready malt base, assertive hop bitterness. Medium bodied. Almost like a west coast Pils, hops seemed more US than German.

Can at home. Slight hazy golden. Sweet malts, wort, light lime zest, bread crust, soft caramel, corn, grassy hops. Medium sweet, light bitter.edium bodied with some sort of porridge feel. Nice stuff, except for the body which feels like they added something to make it feel thicker.
