440ml can - Pours a clear pale golden colour with a small thin white head that quickly settled. Aroma is sweet cereals with some floral, green apple and lemon grass notes. A moderately sweet taste, apple, lemon and lemon grass flavours with a light spicy bitter finish. Okay.

Bottle at home in Hackney - best by August 2015 and no idea where I got it. Pours deep brown with a frothy, khaki head. Moderately sweet, a little dark berry tang, some charred meat, decent roast, ash, peat, bitter dark chocolate. Medium bodied with fine carbonation and texture like felt. Bitter ashy roast in the finish, more bittersweet dark chocolate, old burnt wood, raisins. To be honest, it's better than it should be.

Tight white foamy head left a cover on a well carbonated light amber coloured body. Fruity & malt aroma. Medium bodied, tingly & cloying on the back. Malt, bubble gum, cordial & berry tastes. Tastes a bit cheap & false. (It was cheap!)

Can gift from non RB friend โ at 3.8%. Heatwave ? This should be called Frothwave ! Gushing out of the can, completely filling the glass, all over the place. When it settles down itโs a golden yellow and the white head disappears completely. Has a weird aroma of wild flowers and herbs. Taste is strange as well, creamy texture with plenty of rich tea biscuits and some floral hops around the edges. This is the worst beer Iโve had for some time. And @eglesb โ itโs definitely NOT an IPA !

Can ordered from A Hoppy Place, Windsor. Aroma is interesting - apple sharpness combines with a malty chocolate for an apple cake effect. Albeit with a sour milk edge. Dark and inky. Bubbly light beige head soon recedes. The cider element is really up front, although it was presumably always going to compliment the sour beer in the blend. With sourness up front there's then underlying malty creaminess and smooth rye grains. Develops a low key coffee streak. Medium bodied. Slick. Flat carbonation. Long astringent finish. I like. Just an interesting beer/cider blend that slips down.

Can ordered from Noble Green Wines, Hampton. Aroma is resinous with grapefruit tartness. Amber. A slight haze to it. Bubbly foamy white head. Medium bitter. Spice. A tangy stonefruit edge. Marmalade. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Pithy. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Decent appropriately bitter stuff.

Bottle from The Ale House, Chelmsford. Poured very dark brown with a small frothy beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, milk chocolate, coffee, vanilla, lactose, dark fruits. Medium sweetness, moderate roasted bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Enjoyable.
