Can from Noble Green Wines, Hampton. Aroma combines juicy citrus with a grassiness. Hazy dull orange. Thick fluffy foamy white head. Tangy citrus sourness with s bitter edge. Certainly juicy. Medium bodied. Slick verging on oily. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Enjoyable refreshing stuff. Possibly enjoying it more because it's sunny and I've just mowed the lawn.

440ml can – Pours a hazy amber colour with a large foamy cream coloured head that slowly settled. The aroma is a grainy, estery, banana, citrus peel and spice. A sweetish grainy taste, wheat, caramelised banana and yeasty flavours with a zesty spicey finish. Very nice.

Can ordered from Noble Green Wine, Hampton. Aroma has grapefruit, shock, but it seems almost burnt, over smoky grains. Light gold. A slight. Frothy foamy white head. Grapefruit sourness but we're talking tangy as opposed to tart. Low key bitterness. Underlying soggy malts. There's also some intriguing salty notes. Light bodied. Thin but slick. Buoyed by lively soft-fizzy carbonation. Dry slightly astringent finish. For whatever reason, after their core SIPA was a damp squib, this one works for me. It benefits from the grapefruit, a fruit I'm not the biggest fan of.

Can from Noble Green Wine, Hampton. I guess the move to Surrey necessitated a new core Bitter. Aroma is slightly overpowered by thevdamn good burgers I just cooked, however it's sweet and fruity, malty. Has tart berries for an almost vinous effect. Dark amber. Thin bubbly translucent white head. Light sour. Berries and citrus. Underlying caramel biscuits. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long astringent finish. Certainly sessionable. A traditional bitter? Probably not but I like it.

Can from Noble Green Wines, Hampton. Aroma combines tart stone fruit with a grassiness and underlying malts. Very light gold. Frothy translucent white head. Medium-heavy bitter. Citrus and quinine. An earthiness. Light bodied. Slick. Fizzy Carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. It's as if they've tried to pack in the hops to make up for the low ABV and it's ended up a bit raw.

Can swop from friend. Mainly coffee and chocolate in the nose with hints of roasted malts. Pours a deep mahogany brown with reddish orange highlights and a substantial cream coloured head with some lacing. A passive mouth receives a sweet caramel malt texture, whereas an active tongue seeks out coffee and chocolate cake with a hint of liquorice. Finish is mainly bitter coffee grounds. Very nice and enjoyable, but lacking that “wow” factor.
