Cask at the Great British Beer Festival 2019 - London. Pours clear orange-gold with a light, creamy white head. A bit basic and bland, with notes of doughy pale malts, light citrus accents. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes with more doughy bread, not a lot else. Just drinkable.

Can from BOB Wines, Sydenham. Aroma is fruity with a resinous bite. Opaque gold. Creamy white head. Light-medium medium bitter. Sour edge. Combines zesty fruit with resin and a touch of spice. I like this type of marmalade effect. Medium bodied. Slick. Soft carbonation. Dry finish. I like this 'un. Just goes down well.

Can from BOB, Sydenham. No reduced ever so slightly to 5.9% ABV. Aroma has caramelised banana and cloves. Cloudy amber. Thick fluffy white head. Bitter core with a citrus sour edge. Good dose of cloves. Only a vague sweetness on the periphery. Light-medium bodied. Slick if thinnish. Average carbonation. Long astringent finish. Decent stuff - although more hoppy than the traditional hefe the packaging references.

Tap at mad Squirrel St Albans. A clear golden orange coloured pour with a a loose halo of white head. Aroma is semi sweet, watermellon, midget gems, orange. Flavour is composed grassy, big bitterness, midget gems, grapefruit,. Harsh back of the throat bitterness.. Palate is prickly, alcohol, spritzy carbonation. Very harsh.

Tap at the Crafty Taproom, Marlow. Poured a slightly hazy golden colour with a thin white head. The aroma is grainy malt, weedy, grassy tropical citrus fruits, light floral hop. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet, with a super fresh, crisp, juicy citrus, mineral, floral hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Pours a clear pale golden colour with an average sized mostly lasting white head. Aroma is light malts and citrus, straw and lemony notes. Light sweet taste, pale malts, pithy citrus, lemon and fruity hop flavours with a light fruity hop finish.

330ml can: BB 7th Apr 2021. Drank at home on 9th Jun 2020. Mini haze to the light golden body, white head for a while. Mild citrus notes in both the nose and taste, grainy feel to the malty base, gets more bitter as you get into it.
