Half pour (cask) at the Trocadero. Medium golden, clear, small creamy head, lacing coats the glass. Aroma is oranges and malt. Taste is more bread, biscuits, orange peel. Velvety feel.

Bottle 330ml. @ [ Hackney post-Pig's Ear Tasting ] - The Leighton House, Hackney, London. [ As By The Horns Revolutionary ].Unclear medium orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sweet malt, pale malt, moderate hoppy, light orange - citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration, fruity hops, pale malt, caramel, has a off note ! Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Bottle from Ales by Mail. Pours clear golden with a thin white head. Aromas of ginger, white pepper, lemon peel and the red bush tea. Taste has the smoke, nicely balanced with lemon and pepperiness.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours clear dark brown with a thin beige head. Aromas of dark sugar and whisky. Taste is dry, toffee, light oak, sweet finish.

Cask at the Red House, Stourbridge. Pours dark gold with a small head. Aroma is grassy mango. Taste is bitter and grassy. Strong grass. Limey finish.

Pours a clear reddish amber colour with a small frothy off white head. Aroma is a fruity and floral, some sweet tropical notes with a fresh swert herbal hops. Moderately sweet fruity marmalade taste with a decent herb hop bitterness in the finish.
