440ml can bought at Clapton Craft, Kentish Town. Shared with Magne and Leif. Decent fawn-coloured head over a near-black body, spotty lacing. Spiced dried fruity aromas, scent of chocolate malts as well. Blended and rather sweet taste of dark and dried fruits joined by chocolate and liquorice moments with spices to it. Rounded roasted malt-fruity end, semi-sweet. Tasty sipper. (Airbnb flat, London, 09.12.2023).

Pigs Ear. Cask. Slightly dirty looking amber beer, small bubbly tan head. Smooth and semi dry palate, decent fine carbonation. Smoke malts, smooth white smoke, never acrid. Nice English hop orchard fruits on the back end. Plummy fruits, a little stewed apple. Mild spice on the semi dry finish. A very mellifluous smoke brew. Very drinkable as a result.
