Tap into a wineglass showing honey hues and two fingers of clean white foam. The nose shows a mix of sweet malts with notes of briny sea breeze. The palate is medium bodied and moderately carbonated. Clean lager-like malt through the middle with a light hoppy bitterness.

Pours hazy burnt yellow with a big frothy white head that leaves plenty of sticky lacing and trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is tiny malty, tiny grassy and tiny spicy with crackers, freshly baked white bread, freshly harvested hay, dry soil, white pepper corns and lemon zest. Taste is slightly bitter, slightly grassy and slightly spicy. Mouthfeel is soft, dry, tiny astringent and light to medium bodied. Finish is slightly bitter with white bread, moist hay, dry soil and lemon peal. Very fresh traditional saison nose. Bit harsh in the mouth but still quite nice.

Shared by wchesser at Finn’s Manor. A honey fruity hop aroma on a golden body. Zesty carbonation the taste is more malt and honey to me after the Sump but with a floral hoppiness.

Hazy and with a bit of bubbly head. Has a pear like hop and dusty yeast. The body is light, with some light pear and peach notes. Good.

750ml bottle (Vintage 2015) from La Cave à Bulles. Aroma and taste are yeasty, flowery, earthy. Good stuff if you are a fan of farmhouse ales. But I am not... :-)
