Description
Resilience is the American ale project of the brewers at Schilling Beer Co. We craft exquisite, principally hoppy ales, with the same level of artisanship and care that is evident across the breadth of Schilling Beer Co. liquids. Resilience beers are so named because they embody the struggles and triumphs of our journey. Drink Resilience with those you love—preferably in the mountains—and hopefully in a place as special as Littleton, NH.

Resilience beers are available on-site at the brewery (both at the brewpub and the main brewery’s tasting room), as well as in 16 oz. cans and limited kegs via our distributors (primarily in New Hampshire).

Admin Note: This is the American-style beer brand of Schilling. Same brewery, brewers, ownership, etc...

Canned on: the dot print is to small to read. Typical Hazy appearance. Aroma has mild floral and citrus. The cashmere hop is new to me. It definitely gives off a floral note. Subtle mild juicy texture with no bitterness at all. Interesting for sure.

Canned 12/12/18, drunk 1/12/19.
Very hazy, heavily cloudy, brass-to-peachy-golden. White head fades quickly to a ring.
Smells a bit odd as I'm pouring it...Heavily doughy and strong plastic phenols and other various yeast notes. Not a lot of hop character and what's there is hard to make out from all of the yeasty dough and blandness. Maybe some nectarine and orange? Malts seem well-attenuated, I guess. Kind of a cracker-biscuit thing, but again, it's all dominated by this massive yeastiness.
Somewhat better in the mouth, as the malts add light honey-like sweetness and it's soft and malty with engaging carbonation. But the yeast is again rather dominant and adds dough and nuttiness, heavily bland. Cracker, plastic and spoiled fruit-like ester on the finish. Ehhhh. Can't really do too much of this one. Love these guys but they've got to get these Resilience IPAs under control. They've been extremely variable.

Can, with illegible markings on the bottom, but purchased fresh, drunk 1/11/19.
Moderately hazy, peachy-brass-blonde. White head is small, fading slowly to a ring.
Mosaic is done right here, with no onion character nor heavy pine/resin. Just tons of nectarine and other various yellow fruit with light touches of pine and a hint of pineapple. Malts are in the background, adding light cracker and minor biscuit. Smells soft and round with no edge to it and no big yeast character. Just light, fruity esters to complement the juicy hops.
In the mouth it's soft, round, supple and well-attenuated with tangerine, nectarine, orange and pineapple with a touch of light pine on the end but low bitterness overall and tight carbonation. Clean and enjoyable with just a very slight hint of scallion. Good juiciness and drinks quite flavorfully for its size.

On tap at Big Fatty BBQ in White River, pours a hazy peach gold with some sticky white head. Solid nose, melon, stone fruits, orange, malt. Flavor has honey, melon, stone fruit, malt, orange. Finishes a touch sugary.

Draught at the brewery, 6/22/18 and a 4 pack of cans drunk over the next month.
Heavily hazy, peachy-apricot golden with a small but firm, white head atop.
Nose is juicy and somewhat yeasty, with tons of melon, soft yellow fruits and bubble gum. Bits of cracker and light biscuit sit behind it with just a touch of caramel. No alcohol or flaw. Lots of strawberry, mineral and moderate white wine and low on the Mosaic, with little/no pine and no resin.
In the mouth it's soft, quite dry, with nutty yeast and light dough mixing with strawberry, biscuit, cracker, grapefruit and light mineral. Good amount of juiciness, though it's not a huge amount, with a bit more yeast character (both ester and actual yeast in suspension). As with some of their other new IPAs, they feel a bit messy. Still, it's clean, not boozy and the hops demonstrate no resin or any problem. Low but engaging carbonation.

On tap at Schilling Beer Co, pours a hazy golden blonde with a medium white head. Aroma is fairly subtle for a IIPA, with fresh piney hops and a smooth base of biscuity malt. Flavour has piney hops and unfortunately more than a trace of diacetyl that ends up ruining this. Needs cleaning up.

On tap at Schilling Beer Co, pours a cloudy blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of yeast, with floral hops and biscuity malt. Flavour is somewhat yeasty, with piney and somewhat dank hops, and a dry biscuity malt base. Piney and yeasty finish. Very good.

On tap at Schilling Beer Co, pours a hazy golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out floral hops and soft biscuity malt. Flavour is bursting with piney and floral hops upfront, with a crisp biscuity malt base. Nice expression on the hops. Much more interesting and bold than the usual APA.
