$4.50 can, BR. Hazy gold with a small white head. Aroma is citrus, overripe melon, almost cherry. Flavor is overripe melon, citrus peel, grasses. Not loving the overwhelming melon.

16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 7/18/2019. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy deep golden amber color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/zest, wood, mint, peppercorn, pine, cracker, biscuit dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt notes; with big strength. Taste of big tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/zest, wood, mint, peppercorn, pine, cracker, biscuit dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, peppercorn, pine, cracker, biscuit dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/grainy, fairly sticky, and lightly resinous/rindy mouthfeel that is great. Mild increasing warmth of 8% after the finish. Overall this is an excellent DIPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink for the ABV with the mellowly bitter/resinous/drying finish. Nicely soft feel, and not aggressive. Awesome Simcoe, Mosaic and Galaxy profile. Extremely juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy hops; with a nice sized bready malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. Not overly sweet/heavy for the ABV. A very enjoyable offering, and impressive West coast style example.

Pours opaque dark brown/black color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy khaki head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice dense foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, brown sugar, roasted nuts, toasted biscuit, dark/brown bread/crust, herbal, wood, grass, pepper, and pine; with lighter notes of molasses, smoke, charcoal, dark fruit, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of dark/black/roast/bready malts, light-moderate earthy hops, and light fruity yeast notes; with big strength. Taste of big dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, brown sugar, roasted nuts, toasted biscuit, dark/brown bread/crust, herbal, wood, grass, pepper, and pine; with lighter notes of molasses, smoke, charcoal, dark fruit, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus rind, herbal, woody, grassy, peppery, roast, charred bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, brown sugar, roasted nuts, toasted biscuit, dark/brown bread/crust, herbal, wood, grass, pepper, pine, molasses, smoke, charcoal, dark fruit, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/black/roast/bready malts, light-moderate earthy hops, and light fruity yeast flavors; with an awesome hop/roast bitter/sweet balance; and no cloying, acrid, astringent flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering hop/char bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/grainy, and fairly sticky/chalky/resinous mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 6.2%. Overall this is an excellent American stout. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/black/roast/bready malts, light-moderate earthy hops, and light fruity yeast flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the modestly bitter/resinous/drying finish; not overly bitter/charred. Great balance of rich malts and earthy hops; with mild fruity yeast. Light residual sweetness with lingering dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example. No complaints.

Can. No date coding. The aroma shows very light citrus. Perhaps it shows light tart citrus character. Soft mouth and ends on a soft pine bitterness. Simple but well made.

Taster pour on tap at NH Brewers Festival. Appearance is opaque lemon chiffon yellow, 2-finger white foamy head with good retention and nice lacing. Aroma is strong citrus and herb. Taste is strong citrus, grapefruit along with herb. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with smooth, meaty thick texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, nice sweet/bitter balance and thick and chewy. 3.9

Keg at Molly's - Hanover. Pours lightly hazy gold with a foamy, white head. Solid offering, nice pithy citrus, soft rindy bitterness. Light bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with further pithy citrus, mellow pale bread, tangerine, grapefruit. Drinks fine.
