Description
All three of us started homebrewing at various times but at the peak we would meet up as a brewing group in Vancouver, BC and have a helluva time brewing together. On these brew days we would invite all our friends and neighbors and fire up the barbeque. Long days were spent creating, consuming and discussing our passion....beer.
Over time, the group all went in various directions, a few ultimately started local breweries, others just continued to practice drinking beer. This project reunites three of us from those days and we want to access that community feeling again but bigger this time. We love well made beer and art that doesn't take itself too seriously, so that's what this is about, those two things and the people who feel connected to them.

473ml can. Pours a hazy blonde with yeast chunks that sink to the bottom and a medium, foamy, short lived, off-white head that laces. Sweet fruity aroma of bready pale malt, orange juice, pineapple, peach, earthy yeast and floral hops. Sweet fruity flavour of bready pale malt, tangerine, apricot, pineapple, mango, earthy yeast and coconut in a dry, mild bitter, piney hop finish. Medium body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. Juicy and easy to drink.

473ml can. Pours a cloudy straw colour with yeast particles that sink to the bottom and a medium, frothy, long lasting, white head that leaves thick, soapy patches of lace. Sweet fruity aroma of biscuity pale malt, grapefruit peel, peach, pineapple, earthy yeast and piney hops. Sweet fruity flavour of bready pale malt, pineapple, mango, grapefruit peel, earthy yeast and piney hops in a dry, bitter finish. Medium body with an oily texture and average carbonation. Could be juicier, not bad.

Poured from 473mL can. Slightly hazy bronze with off white head. Muted pine and resin with a bit of vegetal and bread malt. Underwhelming.

473mL can, pours a clear copper / bronze with a large white head. Aroma brings out gentle earthy hopping, a little pine, and bready malt. Flavour is fairly malty, with bready caramel, a strange vegetal hopping, some earthiness, some resins, and a hint of pine. On the sweeter, maltier side, but with that odd vegetal hoppiness. Not hugely sold on the hop expression here. OK.

Can from The Gull, North Vancouver
Clean light amber colour. Mild aroma of husks. Lean mouthfeel, off-dry, with very modest malt presence, a touch of husks, and mild herbaceous hop; balanced bitterness.
Boring; clean.

Slight haze, thin head. Dullish pale sort of colour. The hops are all over the place on the nose - allium, weed and overripe papaya all at once. It's a goddamn cacophony. Too bad because I usually really like Barbe Rouge. On the palate, those elements blend into each other a bit better. The malt is pretty thick, and much gloppier than I'd like. The cold ferment did not work at all - it got stuck or cut short or something. I wish I'd seen that it was a cold IPA before I bought it.

473mL can, pours a clear pale golden blonde with a small white head. Nose reveals gentle piney hops, oily resins, grass, and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is vibrant and punchy, with nicely bitter piney hops, fresh grassiness, and a bone dry crisp biscuity base that nicely dries this out. Vibrant, fresh, crisp and gently oily. Lovely west coast style IPA, with no rough edges. Excellent.

Can from Legacy LRS, Vancouver
Hazy blond colour. Aroma of piney and dank hops. Dry mouthfeel, it has a nice malt base, like a Pilsner, good body structure, so maybe it's not so dry, a touch of alcohol, and good resinous hops.
I'm getting bought by this concept.
