Draft. A- Medicinal, fruity, malty. A- Copper color, clear liquid, off white head. T- Bready, toasty, malty, caramel, mild cherry compote. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, malty finish. O- Very little cherry but lots of toasted malt. This is the type of beer that is mediocre but if they barrel aged it, I think that would do wonders. Zipline is good at taking average beers and killing them with a barrel.

Draft. A- Grains. A- Gold color, hazy liquid, white head. T- Corn, straw, citrus, mild banana. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, bland finish. O- Meh. Not a fan of this one. Very simple. Styles seems to be very popular in Nebraska lately.

4 oz. draft sample. The flavor is ok for me. Pine, Herbal, Weedy. Bitterness is piney/ weedy with a moderate duration. I normally really enjoy Zipline’s brews overall. This one seems like they are down playing a New England IPA and calling this a “ American IPA”. Style definitions have been blurry for years now. This seems like it is just trying to hard to be a NEIPA.

4 oz. draft sample. Decent flavor of citrus, mild tropics, and a touch of pine. Bitterness is average in the form of pine. Decent balance. Overall, this is a standard flagship IPA that every brewery should have. (I say should because newer breweries seem to not care about Flagship brews). So good on Zip line for staying with a standard IPA offering.

4 oz. draft sample. Appearance is a deeper ruby / brownish color. Flavor has mild cherry, slight earth, and a mild tart finish. Out of all the sample tasters I had on this trip, I would say I enjoyed this the most. Above average.

4 oz. draft sample. Appearance is indeed hazy. Flavor weak tropical fruit, straw, and herbal bite. The bitterness is lower with a slight juicy texture. It wants to be a New England style IPA / APA. Certainly nothing wrong this this. I am just spoiled living in New England.

4 oz. draft sample. Flavor has more orange then the average Wit bier. After 4 oz., it seemed a tad overbearing. Not sure if orange zest or extract was used. Either way, it is only ok to me. Not sure if I could drink more than 12 oz. at any time.

4 oz. draft sample. Flavor of straw, pale malt, weak herbs and grass. Moderate sweetness with a mild yeasty finish. No problems to report. Simple and straightforward.
