Description
Fat Head's was founded in 1992 as a premiere craft beer tap house and restaurant in Pittsburgh, PA. In 2009 we expanded to Ohio and teamed up with our award-winning Head Brewmaster Matt Cole. With the explosion in popularity came the necessity to open a full-scale production brewery in 2012. Fat Head's Brewery produces original ales and lagers for distribution throughout Ohio and Western Pennsylvania.

Our Tap House offers Samples, Flights, and Fresh-brewed Pints! Sit right in the heart of our facility and enjoy the freshest beer from our tanks to your pint glass. We have a 16 tap draft system, bar seating, picnic tables, and some seriously tasty grub to go with it.

Can from Livonia Liquor. Pours a dark amber to light brown with a finger of beige head that lingers. Big aromas of clove, molasses and bready malt on the nose.Balanced, but leans dry on the palate...same flavors. Clove really dominates and lingers on the finish. Too much clove for me.

Every body is getting on the Pgh yinzer wagon lately, you don't even have to brew in pgh to call yer beer a yinzer? WTF! Such a sad attempt to sell more beer in th Pgh area. Jagg-offs. This can is from market district. Pour is like any other clear pale lager. Clean fresh lager nose. First taste is pleasantly & strangely reminiscent of straubs original lager; hints of hay on a backbone of clean lager. However, as the session continues, in teh middle I'm getting a little more of an odd bitterness backed up by a sight processed feel. Yes, this is a little more personality than a refreshing pale lager. The processed feel i not in yer yinzer face, but its there. Decent co2 in there, and I appreciate that. Near the finish its getting a little flat and not as interesting as first thought. Not bad overall, very few if any negative characteristics.

Can from Livonia Liquor. Pours a clear straw gold with a finger of white foam that lingers. Lovely bready malt aromas with honey and light mineral notes. Balanced on the palate with a nice peppery, mineral finish. Very drinkable and a welcoming bitterness.

4 oz draft at Vince’s pizzeria. Newtown, Pennsylvania. Aroma is a odd blackberry hint. Flavor is mildly like cough syrup. Sweet and medicinal. This needs work.
