The original Hook Norton Mild (later Best Mild) was OG 1032 so I guess that could be equivalent to 2.8%

Creamy light brown head left a spotty cover & collar on a still black body. Coffee, roasted & malt aroma. Burnt, roasted, malt & dark chocolate tastes with a tangy fruity finish. What a lovely Stout.

Seasonal beer on Christmas Party night, it's a relatively decent 'winter warmer' - certainly looks the part, dark chestnut brown with a creamy tan head and a sweet fruit pudding aroma. Medium bodied, but not overly creamy, there's plenty of fruit and malt, maybe a little hint of spice in the dry and very slightly bitter finish.
