Toffee aroma. Sweetish caramelly flavor with mandarin and banana. Thinnish. Hint of yoghurt. Thirst quencher.

Citrus aroma with banana and grape juice. Very cloudy. Citrus flavor. Somewhat tart. Hint of yoghurt. Thirst quencher by excellence. The closest a German hefeweizen can get to a geuze.

From the flip top bottle. Woody aroma, full of oak, caramel, and sour apple. Taste is sweet with hints of toffee and a light warmth at the end. No real sense of the whiskey. Medium body, moderate to soft carbonation. Pleasant although the tartness at the end collides a bit with the toffee and oak.

Flascherl: Deep golden, hazy to cloudy, smaller persistent creamy off-white head, sweetish-bitter grainy-dusty nose with delicate fruity spots; mild to moderate sweetish-bitter flavour, light bodied and a bit fizzy; sweetish grainy finish with some sourish-fruity traces. Not the greatest pleasure...

50cl bottle. A clear deep golden beer with a huge good lasting off-white head. Aroma of dry grainy malt, straw and pale malt. Taste of dry pale malt, straw, some grains, moderate spicy hops. Easy to drink! okay!

From the bottle. Dark orange with a foamy, off white head. Aroma is fairly straightforward Weizen: yeasty with banana although there’s a slightly herbal note. Taste is sweet, full of banana. Finishes less sweet, dryer, with noticeable clove and a hint of tangerine. Medium body, soft carbonation. Nothing special but quite decent.

Frothy light tan head left a rocky cover on a very hazy dark pine coloured still body. Fruity aroma with yeast, banana & spices. Medium bodied, airy over the palate with an almost chewy back & clean finish. Hops, banana, citrus, clove, earth & orange tastes with a long tangy fruity finish.
