Bottle picked up from Appel Getrankemarkt, Moosburg and consumed at home Thursday 6th January 2022 listening to Bambara - Stray, we’re cooking pizzas in the wood oven outside. Pours gold with a white head, there is a little haze but I note that it’s unfiltered. A little more bitter than expected, soft in the mouth, a little light metallic touch. It’s fine but I have just had two really nice Au im der Hallertsu Brewey Pils at my local in Gutlsdorf which rather put this into a dim and distant second place.

We had a very nice homemade Goulash cooked in the slow cooker. Pours a dirty chestnut with a cappuccino coloured head. Notes of caramel and banana, taste is similar with the wheatiness giving a nice edge to it and just disrupting the smoothness a little, nice fruity tang, a little chocolate maltiness. Good.

Pours hazy, dirty gold with a white head. Thick in the mouth there is a softness, sweetness and warmth from the abv. There is a nice little fudge brownie touch, drinks far too easy for the abv. Great.

Optisch bernsteinfarben und selbstverständlich hefetrüb. Die weiße, feinproige, fast cremige Schaumkrone macht einen sehr stabilen und langlebigen Eindruck. Sehr typische, angenehme fruchtige Hefearomatik von Banane und zartem Malz. Der Antrunk kommt angenehm spritzig, leicht fruchtig-hefig, wirkt aber etwas dünn. Am Gaumen ebenso fast dünn wirkend, aber dennoch sehr angenehm weich, hefig, leicht fruchtig und zart malzig. Auch wenn die Geschmacksaromen deutlicher ausfallen könnten, zeigt sich dieses Weizen dennoch sehr ausgewogen und harmonisch. Das Mundgefühl ist dabei ganz okay und auch eine schöne Süffigkeit ist dabei gegeben. Im Abgang wirkt die typische Weizenaromatik ganz gut nach und es bleibt zu sagen, dass dieses Bier trotz seiner zurückhaltenden Aromatik wirklich gut ist. Eher einfach gestrickt, aber doch sehr typisch und gut.

Pours hazy yolky yellowy with a foamy, creamy textured white head. Aroma is a little fleshy peachiness, the usual wheatiness and expected banana is present but much muted here. Lovely creamy softness, some initial sweetness, soft candy banana fades to reveal a light wheatiness and slight building bitterness. Classic but also distinct

Bottle picked up from Bierkiste München, had this Sunday 18th July 2021 after a hard day's gardening, just about to cook Zarzuela and listening to Snapped Ankles - Forest of Your Problems. Pours murky orange, quite deep orange with a small white head, however I poured this into the wrong glass, shame on me. Thick mouthfeel, soft, hoppiness noted straightaway, sweet orange and wheatiness. Tried this alongside a Schneider Weisse Tap 4, this is really good and more than holds it's own, the Schneider Weisse notably very clean, this a little less polished but good for it. I like this.

Schöne, dunkel orange Farbe - geht noch als helles Weizen durch. Enorme Menge Hefe die durchs Glas wabert (das Ausschütteln aus der Flasche artet in echter Arbeit aus). Süßlicher, sehr aromatischer Geruch. Geschmacklich wird es dann schön fruchtig (so ziemlich jede Frucht ist zumindest in Spuren vorhanden). Leicht getreidige Noten sind zu finden. Hopfig aromatisch mit deutlich bitterer Note bis in den Nachgeschmack. Schön sämige Konsistenz, gute Substanz (was auch in sehr respektablen 5,8 % Alk. zum Ausdruck kommt). Ein ungewöhnliches, aromatisches und richtig gutes Weißbier.

Ordentliche Menge Hefe. Malzig, leichte Kakao- und vor allem Kaffeenoten. Etwas trockener Mittelteil und Abgang. Gut, kommt aber bei weitem nicht an das helle Weizen oder das Staffelsee Gold aus gleichem Hause ran.
