0.75 l bottle from 'Rudat', 2020 vintage, best before end of 2025. Clear, golden amber with a medium large, foamy, quickly diminishing, white head. Slightly sweetish, a little sourish, gently fruity aroma of honey, lemon, rhubarb, pear and apple. Gently sweet, slightly sour, quite malty, moderately fruity taste of honey, caramel, apple, lemon and rhubarb, followed by a medium long, gently tart, slightly boozy, moderately dry finish. Medium body, slightly astringent and a bit oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very interesting, much sweeter than expected, still with a balancing acidity. Actually way more pleasant than a low abv Berliner Weisse, rather dangerous regarding the abv.

75 cL bottle. Pours hazy dark brown, small and tan head. Aroma is phenolic, breadish and roasted malt. Spiced, herbal. Phenolic. Dry and lingering roasted. Soy, herbal, cumen, breadish. Dry overripe fruits. A lot going on, too much at once.

retrospective review based on noted made; clear chestnut to mahogany colour, minimal beige-ish head; aroma and taste of intensive dark chocolate, licorice, soy sauce, prune, and burnt-roasted bittery notes; good one

Süß-säuerlicher Beginn, Ingwer, Limette, fruchtig. Die Säure wird schwächer, das intensiv fruchtige Aroma bleibt erhalten. Süffig, weich, sehr erfrischend. Gut! 10/9/11/10/10/11
