Bottle bought at Beautiful Beers, Bury St Edmunds. Hazy pale gold. Thick fluffy foamy white head. Aroma has grapefruit, lemon, malts, a hint of spice. Flavourwise we have a bitter streak. Tart edge. Grapefruit. Gooseberry. Woody. Earthy. Underlying sweetness is an afterthought. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Flat-soft carbonation..Long dry astringent finish. Relatively punchy but doesn't maintain my interest... one hop, one noted, perhaps.

Sample courtesy of SHIG, cheers. Aroma is floral, caramel, pine/grass and yeast. Taste is very alcoholic, almost like wine, a touch spicy and caramelised banana. Nice.
