Mi2 på Cardinal 9.12. ble en veritabel julekalender, ikke minst takket være Luis' presentasjon av canadiske øl, alle på 0,473 bokser: uklar skittengul med tett skum som varer til bunns. Saftig anslag med rikelige mengder appelsin og noen tropiske frukter i tillegg til en ganske tydelig fornemmelse av gressløk.

Shared can at Cardinal, Stavanger. Pours hazy golden with white head. Aroma of tropical fruits. Tastes slightly bitter with some sweetness. Medium bodied, bitter finish.

Opaque as fuck. Medium head. The aroma is big, lots of pear, gooseberry sort of things. On the palate, there's a bit of hop burn up front, which obfuscates the brighter galaxy notes. There's some sauvinish accent to the finish, along with alcohol and again that sort of persistent level 2 hop burn. So it's a bit much for me, in terms of alcohol and hop burn. I might prefer a lower abv but there's probably some quality and I might wish to keep tabs on this brewery for other styles.

A murky golden beer with a white head. Aroma of fresh grassy and juicy hops, yellow stone fruits, apricot. Taste of juicy hops, yellow fruits, apricot, citra, hay. Very good.

A deep dark stout with a thick frothy creamy mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity chocolate malt with dark fruits, light coffee grind, vanilla, alcohol warmth, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity chocolate malt with dark fruits, vanilla, light creamy notes, very nice and smooth. On tap at Oktoberfest de Repentigny 2024.

Can that pours a very lightly hazed, light yellow colour with fizzy-bubbly white cap, average stay and some foamy lacing. Lemon juice sourness in the nose with the coriander, blended with ginger. The taste is milder with the sourness. The lemon come out in a different way, but nicely, with a touch of saltiness, spiciness and tart left on the tongue. Quite a nice, refreshing, lemony, gingeri Gose.

A hazed milky yellow ipa with a thick frothy lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, tropical fruit, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, dank notes, light cereals, very nice. On tap at Bières et Saveurs de Chambly 2024.

Profil olfactif céréalier avec notes de grain concassé et des houblons subtilement mentholés. La mousse bien crémeuse et persistante se dépose sur le liquide doré clair et parfaitement limpide. Délicate en bouche avec des accents de grains sucrés, miellés se terminant en une amertume douce et herbacée. La fin de bouche marie le sucré et l’amertume. Le corps est rondelet et la carbonatation douce. Une excellente Kellerbier sur base Marzen. Très appréciée. O:7.39 V:4.88 G:8.36 C:3.53 G:16.69 T:40.85
