Bottled. A deep red beer with a thin tan head. The aroma is powerful of berries, alcohol, and brown sugar as well as hints of yeast. The aroma is sweet malty with strong notes of over ripe fruits, berries, brown sugar, and medium notes of alcohol and yeast, leading to a dry alcoholic finish.

Tap at De Halve Maan. Dark brown color with a lacing tan head. Mediu, body with carbonation that sparkles. Starts dark; but not sweet. Seems to have floral hop. Reminds a bit of cola. Finishes dry and almost refreshing. Very good.

bottle - Pours golden with lots of suspended yeast flakes. It has a mild yeast and malt aroma. It tastes of pale malt, yeast, and has more hops bitterness than one might expect. It’s very bubbly on the palate and struck me as a little watery. The finish is dry. While this beer is alright, I just didn’t think there was much to it. It’s drinkable, but at $4 for a small bottle at the liquor store, not worth getting again.
