Can to lager glass.
Appearance: clear copper color with a two finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: light lemon to grassy and slightly earthy hop spice then brisk clean bready malts
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet to crisp and subtle zesty tone; finishes with the hop spice and clean malts
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable; some smoothness and some light hop punchiness
Overall: seems to slightly lean to a Cezh pils in aromas, flavors and texture but the look makes me think maybe closer to a German pils, eh, whatever, let's use that term it's a "modern pils" and be done with it. This is one I would return to.

Can to becher glass.
Appearance: dark red color with a two finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some nice lace.
Aroma: big piney hops flanked by some citrusy hops and a very clean caramel/toffee maltiness
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas to a fine piney hoppy to malty quality; finishes piney and malty
Texture: medium bodied, slightly sessionable, some smoothness but not too much as plenty of dryness and a little bit of hop sting hit the tongue
Overall: I say a pretty good red IPA by Big Tree I would be willing to come back to.

Can to English pint glass.
Appearance: dark brown color with a two and a half fingers of eggshell white foamy head which slid off nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: chocolate malts with a nice roastiness, toasted nuts, subtle coffee tones, deep earthy and piney hops
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas to a great earthy hoppy to malty sweet quality; finishes semi-crisp, earthy and dry
Texture: medium bodied, semi-sessionable but not really a sipper; light smoothness but love the hop aggression in this brown
Overall: a true styled American brown ale I would love to have again.

Can (11/24/24) from trade with CLW--thanks, Chris! Opaque, dark brown, nice sparkle, thin head with fair retention, light lacing. Aroma is strong toffee, dark chocolate, mild coffee. Taste follows aroma. Smooth texture, soft carbonation, finish as taste. Good strength, nice non-adjuncted stout!
