Bottle. Brown color. Melon, butter and flowers in the aroma. Sweet flavor, buttery with pineapple and ripe melons. Malty, but also flowery hops, especially coming up in the aftertaste. Characterful and quite good, actually.

Bottled at Sir Club. Amber with a small white head. Aroma of malt, mostly caramel and bready notes. Quite sweet malty flavour, with some alcohol. A few years ago, I wrote that it might improve with age. Now, it has improved simply by becoming a.much better beer....

50cl bottle at home. almost clear yellow, thick white smooth head. slight citrussy, yeasty aroma, sweet almost marcipan notes, peaches. flavor is yellow fruity, fresh, but also quite sweet. banana, freshness, watermelon, bottle says serve at 6 to 8 degrees celc. and i believe they are right. this is a beer meant for chilling you in hot weather. to that end, it does good indeed.

Bottle 50 cl. Almost clear orangey brown with an off-white head. Sweetish aroma of overripe fruit with some hops. Quite full-bodied with sweetish overripe fruit and burned caramel. Hardly any bitterness. Pleasant and warming, but perhaps a little to the sweet side. 160509

Bottle, 5.9% at KØ09. Peppery aroma, quite caramelly. Clear amber colour. Small off-white head. Nutty flavour, a little caramel. There is a distinct chili note, but well-balanced. 6 3 6 3 12

Bottle, 9.2%. Cloudy orange colour. Small head. The flavour is sweet and fruity. Has a quite mild chili note in the finish. Not clean like a real triple, but OK. 6 3 6 3 13

Bottle at KØ09. Sherry aroma, seems a little oxidized. Clear dark brown colour. No head. Peppery flavour, very caramelly and extremely sweet. Way too sweet, and not balanced enough by the alcohol which is actually quite strong. 646312 Bottle, 10.0%. Good chalky malt syrup aroma. Almost clear copper colour. Small tan head. The flavour also has the malt syrup and chalk of the aroma, along with a good malty breadiness. Quite bitter finish, and a little boozy, but will within the limits of a barley wine in my book. Perhaps this sample was aged a bit longer than my original rating, because it certainly seems much more balanced. 737319
