Hazy golden with a lasting white pillow of head. Grain dominates the aroma, some coriander and a hint of grass. Dry with some wheat flavour, and a little spice. There is a hint of black pepper hotness in the finish. Could use the little touch of acidity that makes the best wits so quenching.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a longlasting off-white head. Fruity malty raspberry aroma with some hints of honey. Sweet malty honey flavor with hints of raspberry. Sweet malty raspberry finish with some bitter aftertaste.

(From old notes, bottle at One Pint on 2008-01-11) Rather dark in colour. Honey in taste and nose. The spices used weren’t pleasant, unfortunately.

Black with huge beige head. Sweet aroma with notes of roasted malt, hops, coffee and dark bitter chocolate. Flavor is sweet with roasted malt, dark bitter choclate, hops and coffee. Good balance.

(Re-rate, bottle at Pikkulintu) Poured black. Head was large and light brown. Aroma contained liquorice, hops and sweetness. Palate was full bodied and dry with medium carbonation. Flavours were roastedness, liquorice, hops, sweetness, vanilla, ash and bitterness. Aftertaste was ashy and bitter. Old rating, bottle at One Pint Pub: 8-4-7-3-16=3.8
