On tap at Ammutsøn. Black as outer space. Cacao nitro foamy head. Silky smooth taste, hints of chocolate truffle, nutty coffee fading to a smooth bitterness. The first sip was like drinking silk; I think I would like that. And if someone would liquify black silk, this is how I would imagine it tastes. Props to the bar for their nitro setup BTW.

Bottle from a Carrefour, Ninove - thanks Anke! Pours hazy dark brown to black with a very thin, frothy, tan head. Aroma of red & green apple, ripe plum, raisin, port wine, vanilla, cake dough, milk chocolate (bordering on 'Ersatz'), coco flakes. Taste is medium malty sweet, quite fruity, offering raisin, plum & some apple (hinting at acetaldehyde), slightly caramelly & chocolatey base with a touch of creamy vanilla, hardly any coconut; restrained bitter notes of coffee roast & fondant announce a dryish, faintly herbal hoppy finish with lingering dark fruits, chocolate, and at last some more coconut. Medium body, slick-oily texture, fizzy carbonation. Very smooth Porter, that much is certain, but not delivering sufficiently.
