Description
Founded by Oliver Hughes & Liam Lahart, the Porterhouse Brew Co. are Ireland's pioneers of craft beer. Opening Ireland's first brewpub in the heart of Dublin, Temple Bar. Nowadays with a chain of successful bars in Dublin, London and New York the company is now producing from a state of the art brewery located in Glasnevin, Dublin. The expansion to the 120 barrel brewing facility in 2017 helps service our own bars but provides quality beer outside of the bars to consumers throughout Ireland while exporting to over 20 markets globally. The Porterhouse Brew Co. is proud to be a fully run independent brewery with a focus on consistency, quality and innovation.

7/5/2019. Draft at the Porterhouse, Temple Bar. Pours almost black with a lasting tan coloured head. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malt, coffee and a touch of liquorice. Medium plus sweetness with moderate bitterness. Medium body, slick texture, soft carbonation. Enjoyed this, best of the 12 cask/tap beers tried tonight.

Aroma of chocolate, raspberry ripple ice cream, sweet light rum truffle, vanilla, roasted malt and lactose. Medium sweetness and medium plus roasted bitterness. Medium body, slick texture, soft carbonation. Bitter roasted choclate finish. Good one.
