On tap @Mad for Beer (Rome). Pours acid yellow with a medium and persistent white head. Aroma of lemongrass, belgian yeasts, light spices, fresh, amazing! Flavour has a light malt profile with a good bitter and dry end. Light body, medium carbonation. Very good beer!

Bottle @ home. Quite hazy a bit pale yellow color, medium sized foamy white head. Smell and taste wheat, yeast, lightly spicy, a hint of fruitpeel bitter. Moderately bitter finish, decent body, medium carbonation. Decent.

Pigs Ear Day 1. Cask. Almost opaque brown beer, small pale tan head. Palate is airy, semi dry and reasonable fine carbonation. Little coffee. Spicy esters. Mild tangy dark fruits. A little spice in the finish. Tasty enough.

Cask at Pig’s Ear 2015. It pours darkest brown with a small off-white head. Then nose is bitter-sweet, filter coffee, cheap plain chocolate, creaminess, fudge and umami. The taste is bitter-sweet, spicy, charred wood, earthy, ashy, liquorice, umami, burnt toast and some astringency with a dry, ashy finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Aroma is quite nice, but I find the beer a bit harsh on the palate. OK at best.

Cask at Pigs Ear Beer Festival, Hackney, London. An orange/amber coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Hoppy, tropical fruit, peach aroma. Tastes similar, hoppy, caramel, tropical fruit. Nice one.
