Nice creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is wet grain, almond essence, weeds, wet hay, caramel. Taste is harsh and slightly sour-ish, caramel malts, wet grain, almond essence, wet hay gone sour, weeds, chalk. Little bitterness. Typical Italian....MEH!!

Bottle at home. Pours a hazy reddish brown colour with a light brown, creamy, medium head. Malty aroma with oak, heather, some leather and is slightly sour. The flavor is a light version of the same and is still slightly sour with a touch of oak. Has a slick mouth feel, and a light bitterness. A little strange ale but is interesting and balanced. The flavour is a bit light though.

horeca 13 pours black , small white head smell is refreshing , smokyness. taste is very light , metallic porter. in a weird way, it does work very well together . some coffee in the back

750 ml bottle, available at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger (limited quantity). ABV is 8%. Hazy reddish brown colour, moderate off-white head. Malty aroma with distinct notes of honey. Moderately acidic and distinctly fruity flavour. Some honey notes, but not too sweet. Low bitterness. Refreshing for its strength, not too bad.

Fra flaske på DSJT Cardinal nov-13: fruktig aroma, men flat og uinspirerende smak. En skuffelse for meg som er så glad i honning (som er et innslag i denne).

Hazy amber beer with a small off white head. Smooth palate, a little dry. Bitterish marmalade hops with a little grapefruit. Light apply streak. Reasonable malt base. Finishes dry and bitter. Could do without the apple, but otherwise good.

0.75l bottle from a supermarket in Monfalcone. Quickly forming a big nice almost fluffy dark beige head on top of a deep darker than cola brown body that's packed with big grey sediments. The nose has sweet licorice pastilles with cocoa, mineral water, nuts and yeah, coca Cola. A little hint of ethanol as well if I'm not mistaking. Hmm.. Not the best stout I've tasted. It has a thin oily mouthfeel with a small prickling carbonation level. It's really dry, almost no sweetness left in this what so ever. Again, licorice pastilles, lots of dry cocoa and cola in the taste. It's a bit dusty and old - definitely earthy with chalky starchy potatoes. Well, this is definitely not a masterpiece of a beer, but I would still call it drinkable. 02.08.2013

Bottle shared by Claudio. Pours cloudy dark brown color with tan head. Aromas of moderately roasted malts, oak and some wine. Vinous and oaky flavor with roasted malts and kind of funky. Medium body with moderate carbonation.

Bottle, picked up at GBBF ’13, drank at home 01/09/13. Hazed golden amber with a thin off white covering. Nose is apple pie, summer fruits, light floral hops. Taste comprises earthy hops, bitter orange, yeast notes, bready malt, apple skin, light toffee. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry finish with bitter notes. Ok bitter.

Bottle at GBBF 2013 and drunk at home. Hazy gold lasting white head. Vague esters on aroma.. Very hoppy in the mouth considering the malt structure. So it’s a very hoppy pale ale. Not much of a Belgian Ale more an APA with some slight esters. Still it’s utterly drinkable and lovely. Wow could drink this all day. Black pepper hop on finish is delightful.. I love it.
