Old rating - As titled here, 650ml bottle from the brewery, but 11% ABV. Cellared for a year & poured in Jersey, UK. It's a brown colour with next to no head. Aromas & tastes of spruce, rum, spice, wood, earth, herbal. Medium body. Spiced rum finish. The high alcohol really is evident through out. A hard one to finish & not enjoyable one bit.

A 12 oz from tap at the brewery. A decent red ale without been anything special

A 20 oz draft pour at the Wheelhouse, Digby. This seems to be marketed as a pale ale these days and at a ABV of 5.0. It seemed to be served to cold as it has what looked like ice bubbles floating that diminishes slowly. Still it was a decent fruity ale.
