Needed a blonde ale to break up the haze. Clear golden colored. Nose is sweet caramel malt with light grassy hops,m & some mineral notes. Tatses a fine malt caramel, light grassy hops, mineral notes. Bready finish.

Bottle thanks to Stuu's Chicago adventure. Pours dark brown to black with a thin beige head. Aromas of dark chocolate, whisky and wood. Taste is more dark chocolate, spice. Woody, boozy finish.

Nose - dark chocolate, whisky and wood.
Taste - more dark chocolate, sweet spice like cinnamon.
Palate - fairly full bodied, dry, woody and a bit boozy on the finish.
Overall - good.

Ystad Tasting (25/11/2023) - roasted and sweet malty with lots of chocolate, some sweet caramel and fudge toffee like sweetness, full bodied, oak wooden accented malty finish.
