Description
Conceived as a ‘nomadic’ project, The Beak has spent several years creating unfiltered, seasonally-inspired beer with friends at some the greatest UK breweries, including North Brew Co, Partizan, Beavertown, Burning Sky and Northern Monk. We've now laid roots in our hometown of Lewes in East Sussex, where we've built a 15-BBL neighbourhood brewery and taproom with a mixed-fermentation project and weekend street food canteen. Please come and say hi!

Panda thanks to Cloin. Just a light haze on this orange gold beer, small bubby pale cream colour head that doesn't last. Light palate, semi dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Thin bodied pale malts, a thin creamy sweetness. Smooth cooling pine. Fairly bright hop fruits, bright and a little tangy. Some mild tangerine and mandarin. Light and semi dry finish. A tad dry but bright and drinkable.

440ml can. Crystal clear yellow gold, white head. Aroma is very vinous, white wine, grape, a little gooseberry. Taste follows, big vinous Nelson hit, white wine, grape, some gooseberry, citrus, pale malts, light bitterness. Light body.
Quite strong (for the style) hop flavours here, not sure it makes sense for a "light lager" but it's very nice at least.
