Description
Conceived as a ‘nomadic’ project, The Beak has spent several years creating unfiltered, seasonally-inspired beer with friends at some the greatest UK breweries, including North Brew Co, Partizan, Beavertown, Burning Sky and Northern Monk. We've now laid roots in our hometown of Lewes in East Sussex, where we've built a 15-BBL neighbourhood brewery and taproom with a mixed-fermentation project and weekend street food canteen. Please come and say hi!

Panda thanks to Cloin. Near clear gold beer, small and short lived pale cream colour head. Light palate, mildly dry, a good fine minerally crispness. Light bodied pale malts provide a modicum of sweetness. Crisp cooling pine and tangy stone fruits, plum and Nectarine especially. Mild citrus. Light crisp finish brings a trace of candy fruits and the lightest touch of hop spice. Clean and quaffable.

Panda thanks to Cloin. Just a light haze on this gold beer, small and short lived off white head. Light palate, a very mild dryness, good fine minerally carbonation. Light bodied pale malts, thin really but a decent creamy sweetness delivered nonetheless. Cooling pine into a mild but pleasing savoury skunk. Eclipse hops delivering a mildly peachy citrus. Soft candy fruits, well buried. A mellow soft citrus. Light finish leaves a juicy hop fruit linger. Comes together nicely.

440 ml can, as Beak Move DDH Pale, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 5%. Hazy yellow colour, moderate white head. Aroma of citrus and tropical fruits, also pine and spruce. The flavour has the same elements, noticeable bitterness.

I stayed at a Basque campsite once with a constant hum from the industrial estate behind, but after a day of beer hunting sleeping was not a problem! No problem downing this fruity, hazy effort. Golden-blonde, there's lots of pine available too, although its carbonation is notable here as well.

Ade Edmondson and Rik Mayall called their outtakes video 'Bottom Fluff', for their iconic series together. This Fluff is a little more serious, excellent brewing, lower citrus grapefruit in both aroma and taste, providing plenty of flavour, fruitiness, and notably crisp. Very hazy.
