Description
Conceived as a ‘nomadic’ project, The Beak has spent several years creating unfiltered, seasonally-inspired beer with friends at some the greatest UK breweries, including North Brew Co, Partizan, Beavertown, Burning Sky and Northern Monk. We've now laid roots in our hometown of Lewes in East Sussex, where we've built a 15-BBL neighbourhood brewery and taproom with a mixed-fermentation project and weekend street food canteen. Please come and say hi!

440ml can - Pours black with an average sized frothy tan head. The aroma is coffee grounds, roasted malts and burnt grain. A sweetish taste, roasted malts, coffee, and roasted nuts with hints of vanilla and cocoa powder. A warming, roasted and ashy bitterness in the finish.

Can picked up at Kihoskh and drunk at home - hazed up yellow with a white head. Bursting with a cross section of bright tropical citrus fruit, succulent tangerine segments, juicy grapefruit and pineapple, citrus rind, nice soft dense mouthfeel and body, robust hoppy finish. Lovely drop.

Can shared in Watford - cheers to Dan. Pours black-brown with a creamy, tan head. Medium sweet flavour, sturdy roast, well toasted whole grain bread, cocoa, earth, burnt sugars. Medium to full bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Warming finish, more roast, baking cocoa. Solid, old-school impy.
