Description
Conceived as a ‘nomadic’ project, The Beak has spent several years creating unfiltered, seasonally-inspired beer with friends at some the greatest UK breweries, including North Brew Co, Partizan, Beavertown, Burning Sky and Northern Monk. We've now laid roots in our hometown of Lewes in East Sussex, where we've built a 15-BBL neighbourhood brewery and taproom with a mixed-fermentation project and weekend street food canteen. Please come and say hi!

Very nice hazy light orange and good foam. Really good fresh tangerine aroma, mandarin orange, orange zest. Taste is bitter hops, soft sweetness, ending a little wet. Some good elements but pulls back at the wrong time.

Can picked up from Big Scary Monsters, Cowley Road, Oxford. Consumed at Isobel's, Spond nr Kington, Herefordshire, Wednesday 13th October 2021. Pours gold, very little haze, a white head. This is not really doing it for me, a little bit hot, mid bitterness, slight fruity. Ok.

Hits all the right WC notes, bitter, pine, citrus. Dangerously easy drinking as well!

Can. Beer Stop, Dronfield. Clear gold. Fine white head is lasting and semi lacing. Nose has buttery malts. Pine sap. Lemon verbena. Not too much else going on. Taste is sticky sweet, with some ripe citrus bitterness. Sticky and slightly heavy on the palate with soft carbonation. Lingering sappy bitterness to finish. Should be chuggable and definitely isn’t.

Can picked up from Kihoskh and drunk at home - pours very hazy to opaque orange with a healthy white head and lacing. Verbose big punchy fruity hits resonating with loads of nectarine and mango, lychee, papaya, lots of hop spice, resinous petroleum sticky sweet, full body, assertive resonating hoppy finish. Lovely stuff.

Can picked up at Kihoskh and drunk at home - pours a hazy yellow to orange colour with a nice white head. Nelson to the fore delivering loads of fresh white grape and crushed gooseberry, some citra tropical expression giving off supporting passionfruit and lychee, set upon a bed of sweet soft creamy pillowy malts, nice bite into the hoppy finish. Lovely drop.

Can picked up from M&F Bottleshop and shared at home - hazy yellow with a white head. Vibrant juicy fruity with loads of grapefruit and succulent satsuma segments, stonefruit mango and peach action, citrus peel pith, nice mouthfeel and body, robust hoppy finish. Just evaporated out of my glass in no time. Lovely.
